Hornsby Comfy Hips

Hornsby Comfy Hips protectors are shields worn by men and women over the hip bone to assist in preventing typical hip fractures in the event of a fall.  Our Hip protector shields are held in place by specially designed underwear.  The soft dimpled silicone shield is virtually indestructible and yet comfortable enough to sleep on.  The shield absorbs the force of an impact caused by a fall onto the hip.  Hornsby Comfy Hips pants are machine washable in cold or hot water, up to 70 degrees and to speed up drying the shields can be removed.  Some minor shrinkage may occur in cotton products after the initial wash.  Do NOT iron or wring.

XXS: 50-60 cm
XS: 60-70 cm
S: 70-80 cm
M: 80-90 cm
L: 90-100 cm
XL: 100-110 cm
XXL: 110-120 cm

Important Notice: Hip protectors help to reduce that chance of breaking a hip in the event of a fall.  They will not however prevent all hip fracture.  In instances such as car accidents, a fall onto the buttock or in cases of severe osteoporosis, a hip fracture may still occur.  Hornsby Comfy Hips pants and shields have been specifically designed as compatible items for maximum effectiveness.  For this reason the cross matching of our shields or pants with other product is not endorsed by the manufacture.
